The X Guys Franchise Cost
At The X Guys, we believe in building mutually rewarding partnerships with our franchisees. That’s why we’ve created a simple, transparent financial model designed to empower your growth — while giving you full access to our trusted brand, proven systems, and ongoing support.
Promotion to Build National Coverage
As The X Guys builds out the franchise model during 2025 - 2027, the current The X Guys Franchise Cost Structure will remain in place, with possible minor adjustments.
This promotion will in all probability only change in 2028.
Current Franchise Cost Structure (2025 - 2027)
The current franchise financial structure includes:
💰 Initial Franchise Fee = R250,000
Your initial investment grants you access to The X Guys brand, comprehensive training, operational systems, and all the tools you’ll need to launch and grow your business successfully.
📈 Modest Fixed Monthly Fee = R5,000
This covers continued access to brand licensing, marketing resources, business development support, and operational guidance — ensuring you’re never building alone.
📊 Percentage of Turnover = 5%
As your success grows, so does ours. A small percentage of your monthly turnover is contributed back to support national marketing, innovation, and system upgrades — keeping you competitive and growing.
Franchise Agreement
The X Guys have a very generous contract, ensuring that franchisees are allowed to grow successful businesses.
Key Points in Franchise Agreement
1. Franchise Grant
License to operate under The X Guys brand across 6 service divisions (and any future divisions).
2. Region/Area
The Region, Country, Province/County, City/Town which the franchise is licensed to operate.
The Franchisee shall be granted the exclusive right to operate under The X Guys brand within a designated Region/Area.
3. Fees (2025 - 2027)
Initial Franchise Fee: R250,000 (once-off).
Fixed Monthly Fee: R5,000 for brand licensing and ongoing support.
Turnover Contribution: 5% of gross monthly turnover.
4. Financial Reporting
Monthly turnover reports required.
False reporting = immediate termination of franchise rights.
5. Training
Mandatory training held in Johannesburg.
Travel, accommodation, and related expenses are the Franchisee’s responsibility.
6. Marketing
The X Guys Company handles national brand marketing.
Franchisee must obtain prior approval for any local advertising campaigns.
7. Operations
All services must be invoiced through the franchised business.
No competing business activity without written approval.
8. Changes to Agreement
Franchisor reserves the right to amend the Agreement to suit area-specific or market conditions.
30 days' notice will be provided for any material changes.
9. Term & Renewal
Initial term: 5 years.
Renewal subject to performance review and Franchisor approval.
10. Termination
Grounds for termination include breach of agreement, non-payment, reputational harm to the brand, and false financial reporting.
11. Dispute Resolution
First by mediation.
If unresolved, binding arbitration in South Africa.
